Oral Invitations to OSYN Events: We extended invitations to the dignitaries for our upcoming events, including dinners, seminars, and conferences. This gesture aimed to foster their participation in our initiatives and to strengthen our collaboration.
Funds for OSYN Sienna: We discussed the need for financial support to acquire an OSYN Sienna. The vehicle is intended to facilitate our activities and serve as a practical asset for the network. This request is pivotal to our operational efficiency.
Job Opportunities for OSYN Members: As part of our efforts to empower and provide opportunities for our members, we inquired about potential job openings within their respective capacities. This query reflects our dedication to addressing the unemployment challenges faced by our youth.

Outcomes:

Our courtesy visits elicited diverse responses from the representatives we met:

Some received us warmly and extended their support with financial contributions to cover our visit expenses.
Others attentively listened to our discussions but did not make financial commitments.

In the spirit of transparency, the funds received from supportive representatives were allocated to cover movement logistics and the welfare of the OSYN representatives during the visits. The remaining funds were deposited into the association’s account for future use in our initiatives.

Conclusion:

This courtesy visit to Abuja was a significant step in strengthening our relationships with influential individuals and key stakeholders. It provided an opportunity to present our agenda, invite dignitaries to our events, seek financial support, and explore job opportunities for our members.
