International Youth day 2022; OSYN Charges Government to invest her Youths.

Theme: Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a world for all ages.

Ondo State Youth Network OSYN International Youth Day 2022: Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a world for all ages.

As we join the rest of the world to celebrate this years international youth day, with the theme Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a world for all ages. Its imperative to note that the world is fast evolving and no youth and by extension nation should be left behind in reaching its potential by bridging the gap of self reliance and development.

Nigeria for one has a lot of potentials hanging in the balance mostly because its people have to battle survival first before the discussion can begin.
Achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs), Nigeria needs to join the world by prioritising security of lives and property a factor that has been identified as one of the major impediments to youth productivity.

Nigeria a country that prides herself as a Nation that values education will need to address the almost biennial interruptions in tertiary education in the Nation, which has now been carefully tagged ASUU Strike that Youths and students now look forward to from time to time.
While the Youths as the most visible and important population of the country are mostly gifted and hard working as seen recently at the just concluded commonwealth games in Birmingham, United Kingdom, where our athletes like Tobi Amusan, Ese Brume and many others wowed the world in various sporting activities, while not forgetting the much younger ones thriving in the academic and tech world.

As we celebrate today, we enjoin our Governments at all levels to look in ward and address these salient points if we must achieve sustainable development goals SDGs, then only will we be able to explore the potentials in our Youths and join the rest of the world in solidarity as we push for a better Nation for all ages.
The Youths of the sunshine state led by the Ondo state youth network (OSYN) will continue to engage all necessary stakeholders till we realise and strategically reach our potentials.

Happy International youth Day.
